Macquarie Hospital wishes to welcome students for clinical placement and hope that the following information is helpful in preparation for your placement.

This should help you to find your meeting place on the first day of clinical – the Nurse Education Department Training Room located at point 3 (E4) adjacent to Nursing Administration in the Wallace Wurth Building.
Vaccination Requirements are as per NSW Health policy.
Transport to Macquarie Hospital can be determined by checking the Transport infoline on 131 500 or visit www.131500.info/realtime/default.asp
Smoking - Smoking is not allowed on campus.
Canteen facilities are not available on campus. Local shops are a short distance from the Hospital located on Cox’s or Blenheim Roads.
Parking - Parking is free and readily available on site in designated parking areas.
Criminal Record Clearances are required for all students undertaking clinical placement and must be produced on the first day of placement.
