Accessibility Statement
We do our best to make our site accessible and usable by everyone - including those with physical, visual, or other impairments. To this end, several features are available to those with accessible web browsers. These features are listed below. If you require an accessible web browser other than IE, such as Firefox please download. If you have any special requirements or suggestions please contact us via the feedback form.
Access keys
Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the web site. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key(then Enter in Internet Explorer); on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key.
Pages on this site follow this access key legend:
- Access Key S - Skip to main content
Links
- Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an article).
- Whever possible, links are written to make sense out of context. Many browsers (such as JAWS, Home Page Reader, Lynx, and Opera) can extract the list of links on a page and allow the user to browse the list, separately from the page.
- Link text duplication is avoided; two links with the same link text should always point to the same address.
- There are no "javascript:" pseudo-links. All links can be followed in any browser, even if scripting is turned off.
Images
- All content images used in the home page and all archives include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
